You decide which days you spend on holiday and which days you would like to take a course. Our Craftaway courses are all designed for a minimum of one and maximum of four participants, so that you get maximum benefit from your time with us.The number of days required for each course are specified on the courses page. You can combine courses. Please feel free to bring your own project with machines and your own fabrics etc if you wish but our workshop is fully equipped. Also please ask if you have any special requests or projects, we will do our best to help.

dogs out of the bedrooms.
What about supermarkets and other shops?
There is a local gift shop and cafe that carries a few essentials. There is a general store in the next village (LLandogo). The nearest supermarket is 4 miles away. Chepstow is approx 6 miles away and has all the usual shops/ supermarkets. Monmouth (10 miles away0 also has the same. Monmouth we think is the better bet for all things!

Yes, The Loft has a washing machine and a free standing clothes dryer.
We love to eat out, any suggestions?
Being a major tourist destination there is an abundance of different places to eat to suit all budgets in the village. A mobile Fish and Chip van calls on a Tuesday evening, and in Chepstow there are a number of Indian and Chinese restaurants, burgers and pizzas.

Should I take out insurance for my booking?
Please make sure you read out Terms and Conditions, as these will tell you our cancellation policy. But as a rule its better to be safe than sorry and we would recommend that you take our independent insurance in case the unexpected happens.
How can I pay?
There are a few ways in which you can pay for your holiday and courses. We are able to do Bank transfers, all major credit cards, debit cards, and Paypal. Sorry but we longer accept cheques.

Absolutely, we will send you a written copy together with your card receipt. Details of arrival times and any other information etc. You will also get a confirmation of your booking as soon as you complete the transaction via email too.
What if *you* have to cancel my Holiday?
Highly unlikely as we have a number of fabulous back up staff who can take over your course in the event of illness, and plenty of tradesmen on call to tackle any maintenance issues in the flat. We would be in touch very swiftly in such a case that cropped up that we ourselves couldnt not resolve. If we have to cancel you will be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid.
I want to bring my own equipment, how does this work?
We encourage you to bring your own, as you know how it works best. Please be aware though that your machine is your responsibility at all times, we can not be held responsible for any damage/breakages or injuries to you whist it is on our premises. Please do not let others use it.
